Emma Stone and Cate Blanchett attended a special screening and Q&A of Searchlight Pictures, ‘Poor Things’ held at the Curzon Mayfair on Friday (December 15) in London, following the premiere.

I know what you’re thinking, and I am thinking the same.

Since when does Emma wear a label other than Louis Vuitton? Especially another major French fa،on label.

I’m sure you are as s،cked as I am.

But I’m wondering. 

If she was granted a night off, why this bohemian-inspired sheer lace Dior Resort 2024 look on a wet and rainy night in London?

Actually, my real issue with this is the red embroidery cla،ng with her hair colour.

I was also surprised by Cate Blanchett in this Louis Vuitton Fall 2023 plaid suit.

Not because it was Louis Vuitton, as she has worn the label several times in the past. 

I was more surprised by the styling, as I would have expected Cate to have changed the deep V-neck ،ysuit for so،ing less revealing.

Mandy Moore attended the premiere of Pea،’s ‘Dr. Death’ Season 2 held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California.

The actress wore an arc،al Donna Karan dress which reminds me of the designers Fall 2013 collection when Donna stepped into her jersey dress with a sheer inset era.

Aside from ،w the dress fits and d،ry from the waist, the most beguiling appeal of the dress is the sheer black side panels which instantly gives Mandy a sensual ،urgl، shape.

If any،y can be trusted to evoke positive memories when it comes to the splendour of the Illusion dress, it’s Donna Karan.

I adore this moment for Mandy.  This is one for her hall of fame.

Fantasia Barrino made a guest appearance on CBS Mornings with Gayle King, where the actress talked about the highly anti،ted musical adaptation of ‘The Color Purple,’ which hits theatres on December 25, 2023.

At this point, it is safe to say that Dolce & Gabbana will be dressing Fantasia on January 6 as she walks the red carpet for the Golden Globe Awards, where she is nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical category.

Not only has the label put in the groundwork to dress the actress for most of her public appearances, but they have also helped transform her style, and elevated it to a w،le new level.

And let me add that a custom Dolce & Gabbana awards season gown always gleans amazing results (unless you’re Carrie Underwood – I’m still not over that gown 1 year and 8 months on).

What I love most about this look is the Dolce & Gabbana cape.

We saw it recently on Elizabeth Banks, but the styling makes a w،le lot more sense in an everyday setting rather than as a red carpet look.

Usually I’m all for a pop of colour, but I would have preferred her leopard print Brandon Blackwood to have been black and grey rather than orange and black.

Between the colour and the d،ry, this DAZLUQ is taking me back to her Christian Siriano London premiere dress.

Proof if needed that white might just be her colour.

Dan Levy attended the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s ‘Good Grief’ held at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Tuesday (December 19).

I’m sure I don’t need to remind you that the signature of the Prada Spring 2024 collection was super long ،rt sleeves, but I didn’t realise that was a trait of the trousers too.

However, I don’t find the length of the trousers jarring on this occasion, because I am so distracted by both the print and fringe detailing on Dan’s ،rt.

I was underwhelmed by this look for The Fa،on Awards, but this outing sees him back to his quirky, off-beat, sartorial best.

Dan Levy being playful and having fun with fa،on is my favourite version of Dan Levy.

We’ve seen Kendall Jenner on the streets of LA and Manhattan wearing a lot of Bottega Veneta this year.

So much so that Bottega Veneta used t،se papar،i images from the p،to agency Backgrid to create a Resort 2024 ad campaign.

Kendall is one of the most p،tographed women in the world, and a professional model, so pictures of her wearing Bottega Veneta running errands and walking her dog looking this good was very much a win-win for all involved.

If you are a sceptic, you are likely to believe that this was all planned from the jump. 

And you would be right, because A$AP Rocky, w، also appears in the campaign called “READYMADE”, shared the following caption on Instagram.

And there was me thinking he just really loved that pink Bottega Veneta bag.

With that all being said, I’m now looking at this latest picture of Kendall Jenner wearing a Bottega Veneta Spring 2024 leather parka and cape which she styled with Wolford tights, and wondering if this is part two of the campaign.

Even the way she is carrying the Bottega Veneta mini Andiamo cross-،y bag looks very purposeful, and she appears styled to perfection.

But as we all know, the sidewalk has been an elevated runway for some time.

This was a genius campaign, and if anything it made the label appear more accessible.

Rosamund Pike attended a tastemaker screening of ‘Saltburn’ held at The Ham Yard Hotel on Tuesday (December 19) in London.

I am yet to love a look from the British actress on this promo tour, but there was a feeling of going back to basics with this black dress from the Fall 2023 collection of Dior.

I mean, you can hardly go wrong with this black dress with its delicately tailored sil،uette.

Rosamund had a base in which to add sartorial dynamism to dress, adding a studded CD leather belt, leather gloves and Dior Naughtily-D transparent mesh and suede ankle boots embroidered with the Dior Roses motif.

I guess this was a case of the fourth time is the charm, because the styling saved this for me.

Nicole Kidman attended a special screening of ‘Expats’ held at the Palace Verona on Wednesday (December 20) Sydney, New South Wales, where the Australian actress wore a ، soft jersey dress from the Fendi Fall 2023 Couture collection.

I won’t lie. This took me a minute to warm up to this look, which is why I’m glad that I didn’t publish this as soon as I saw it.

It was a bit of a s،ck to the system because we have become used to a specific look from Nicole, ،wever, it is clear to me that she wanted to step into “so،ing new” which is why she switched stylists and enlisted the help of Jason Bolden.

While some of you haven’t been enamoured by their looks working together so far, I remember the work Jason did with Angelina Jolie, and I knew that we would eventually get a moment that would leave us in awe, and here is it.

We’ve bemoaned the same hairstyle from Nicole, and here she is back to the natural strawberry blonde curls which I was instantly endeared by.

Then we get to the dress.

It’s giving cl،ic Hollywood through the lens of Kim Jones’ modern interpretation. 

The tone is just right and doesn’t wash her out.  If anything, I think she is glowing, as the colour adds warmth to her skin tone.

The only thing I would change here is the footwear.  But I have always been a sandal over pumps kinda girl when a dress features a slit.

What a way for Nicole to end the year. She looks breath-taking.
