The TIME Honoring The March: An Impact Family Dinner was held at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights on Thursday (August 10) in Atlanta, Georgia, with Yara Shahidi in attendance.
The actress will often serve up a look with a bit of an edge – like her Bottega Veneta dress worn to the ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ New York screening – but on this occasion the mood and style felt different in Ferragamo, which has me wondering if Yara is about to enter the next phase of her red carpet journey.
Some might feel that frayed edges of the collarless blazer doesn’t offer the same sleek sophistication as the silk ، skirt, but I think this detail plus the mixed fabrics give this ensemble, along with the sculptural belt, a very distinctive look, and prevents it from feeling flat.
With face framing curls, the actress completed her look with Cartier jewels.
