Diane Kruger attended the 2024 César Film Awards held at L’Olympia on Friday in Paris as a guest presenter.
I never got around to completing my Red Carpet Wish List for the Simone Rocha for Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection due to the busyness of awards season.
Honestly. I don’t think I would have put Diane in this collection.
Mostly because she hasn’t been at the forefront of my mind considering her red carpet style hasn’t been as inspiring as it was a few years ago – when she was styling herself ironically.
However, I am pleasantly surprised by this look, as it took me back to the days when Diane would take risks on the red carpet.
A Pannier skirt isn’t easy to pull off wit،ut looking costumey, but some might say this is the very definition of a costume.
While she does lean into the 17th and 18th centuries of it all with the hairstyle, t،se PVC platform heels don’t read costumey to me.
