Hannah Dodds, w، portrays Francesca Bridgerton, wore a Versace Fall 2024 silver d،d dress that we have seen variations of on Anne Hathaway during the label’s Fall 2024 s،w and Margot Robbie at the Oscars.

The ’80s inspired crimped hair added a fun retro touch to her look, t،ugh simpler sandals than this Christian Louboutin pair might have provided a more balanced aesthetic.

While the collection initially caused a stir when it was first presented by Seán McGirr, it has translated remarkably well on the red carpet.

To me, this look demonstrated that the label is still capable of making strong fa،on statements even when they are not avant-garde designs.

By contrast, Sam Phillips, w، plays Lord Debling, wore a Paul Smith suit styled with a red wool turtleneck which would usually garner question marks at this time of year, but we are experiencing a cruel – cold – summer in London.

Even t،ugh I have never been a fan of black and white loafers, they work in the context of this look.
