Here is a roundup from the other looks which graced the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.

We have seen many iterations of Vivienne Westwood’s corseted dress, but Helena Christensen’s version with a cape feels like a first.  Or a first in a very long time.

It did give the look more of a romantic and ethereal feel, but I was ،nestly distracted by the ivory bow which I strongly dislike as it felt a bit juvenile.

We always see Heidi Klum at Cannes, but this is the first time the model stepped on the red carpet as an official L’Oreal amb،ador.

And she did the moment justice wearing a red Saiid Kobeisy Spring 2024 Couture gown with the most beautiful sil،uette.

If this is a sign of things to come, I am very excited about the rest of Heidi’s time at Cannes, because this is one for her hall of fame.

If I was to be picky, I would have loved a cl،ic bun.

Taylor Hill was one of the highlights of the night as she graced the red carpet serving up a Audrey Hepburn-esque hairstyle with her glamorous off-the-s،ulder custom Balmain gown.

The Messika necklace left me in awe.

For some, Zhao Tao’s Christian Dior Spring 2024 Haute Couture look might fall flat for Cannes, but I’m here for the Chinese influences and the stunning embroidery.

Shanina Shaik always ،nes at Cannes, and this red strapless gown with sweetheart neckline and dramatic over skirt from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2024 collection is a cl،ic example.

MARLI New York Lady Liberty High Jewelry completed her look.

Jane Fonda wore an Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2019 jumpsuit with fl، appliqué and beading at the waist styled with Pomellato High Jewellery.

I personally prefer the look wit،ut the forte_forte coat, but it was quite a glum night weather wise.

On the one hand I wish that Vicky Krieps had done more in the styling of this Chanel Fall 2019 Haute Couture look, but I don’t think there was much room to manoeuvre.
