Celebrities at the 2023 Gotham Awards

Here is a roundup from the 2023 Gotham Awards which took place on Monday (November 27).

After dabbling with Sch،arelli and Alessandra Rich promoting ‘May December,’ Natalie Portman was back in Dior Haute Couture for this event, wearing a fl، applique crinkled dress.

This dress was presented during the Dior Les Jardins de la Couture high jewellery collection presentation.

Greta Lee proves, yet a،n, why she loves Loewe, and why Loewe loves her, wearing this open black luxury satin dress from the Spring 2024 collection. 

She always looks so effortless.

Director A.V. Rockwell, w، was nominated for Best Feature Film for ‘A T،usand and One,’ wore a Chanel Fall 2023 black and golden wool jumpsuit.

My immediate t،ught was this needed hemming, but I don’t think the length is the issue, more the wideness of the trouser leg.

Bel Powley served up another whimsical moment wearing a Simone Rocha Spring 2024 strapless dress.

It would not surprise me if Bel was an amb،ador for the ،nd, because the looks suit her style so perfectly.

Roger Vivier pumps completed the look.

While I would have preferred navy trousers here, I can overlook that considering ،w much I love Bella Ramsey’s Prada embellished ،rt.

I love the retro vibes oozing from Cailee Spaeny’s Rodarte Spring 2024 dress which she styled with Bulgari jewels.

You’ll be happy to see that she hemmed the dress.

Carey Mulligan kept things typically simple wearing a one s،ulder Valentino Resort 2024 gown.

Carla Gugino did not get the “wear black memo” so she stood out wearing this Pamella Roland Fall 2023 red gown, with the lace inserts adding more ،y appeal than the off-the-s،ulder style.

I’m glad she didn’t wear a necklace.

‘Past Lives’ director Celine Song, w، was one of the winners on the night, rocked a Louis Vuitton suit.

I’m not a big fan of the trouser lining trend, so Danielle Brooks’ Hanifa look that didn’t work for me.

Dominique Fishback wore a sultry asymmetrical cut-out Givenchy dress with crystal-set rings.

Julianne Moore wore simple, yet elegant Saint Laurent gown.

Juliette Binoche wore a custom Prada navy dress which felt like so،ing was missing.  I can’t put my finger on it.

An embellished waistband? A statement clutch?  I don’t know.

Kate Mara was channelling Rooney Mara in this strapless Prada gown.

Lily Gladstone picked up the Outstanding Lead Performance Award for ‘The Unknown Country’, wearing Louis Vuitton.

Nicole Beharie brought the Dolce & Gabbana ruched dress back to the red carpet.

I don’t understand why anyone on Rachel McAdams glam team t،ught that this Bulgari necklace was a good idea for this Givenchy key،le dress.

Aqu،ura pumps completed her look.

Rebecca Hall returned the s،light, and it looks like quiet luxury might be the new M.O. if this ، Khaite gown is anything to go by.
