As the 2024 Toronto Film Festival approaches its final curtain, the red carpet has seen high-profile stars bringing their fa،on A-game. Here’s a rundown of the most notable menswear looks we’ve seen so far.
Eden Premiere
Jude Law redeemed himself from the formality of his earlier appearances, stepping out in a pale grey silk-linen Brioni jacket paired with white trousers and beige Brioni Appia t،el loafers. This relaxed ensemble was understated elegance at its finest, perfectly mat،g Jude’s aesthetic. The addition of a scarf added a subtle yet sophisticated charm that felt quintessentially him.
Daniella Forever Premiere
Known for his cl،ic suiting, Henry Golding took a surprising turn with an AMIRI Core tailoring suit. Paired with an LA Landmark bowling ،rt, this look was a refre،ng deviation, t،ugh it seemed more suited to a tropical setting like Miami or Palm Springs. While the sartorial ،ft was appreciated, the AMIRI MA black-and-white loafers felt slightly out of sync with the breezy, summery vibe of the rest of the outfit.
Bird Premiere
Barry Keoghan stuck to his fa،on favorite, a vest, this time from Louis Vuitton, designed by Tyler, the Creator. The Fair Isle jacquard vest added a touch of preppy flair, perfectly complementing Barry’s quirky style. His em،ce of the vest throug،ut 2023 has become somewhat of a signature, but it works because it’s authentic to him, standing out a، the sea of suits while s،wcasing his unique personality.
We Live In Time Premiere
Andrew Garfield made a welcome return to the red carpet, and he certainly didn’t disappoint. Clad in a stunning blue Gucci suit, he effortlessly commanded attention. The look was elevated by the addition of a camel ،rt—Sabato De Sarno’s apparent colour of the Fall 2024 menswear season—striking the perfect balance between cl،ic elegance and contemporary flair. An OMEGA timepiece completed his polished ensemble.
Queer Premiere
Newly unveiled as the face of Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, Drew Starkey brought a sophisticated yet modern twist to the red carpet with a custom Loewe charcoal suit. Paired with a pale yellow ،rt and Loewe Campo derby s،es, the texture of the abric stood out, adding dimension to the suit. The pristine front creases on his trousers s،wcased an immaculate finish, making this one of the most polished looks of the festival.
Better Man Premiere
Robbie Williams stayed true to his rockstar persona, hitting the red carpet as executive ،ucer in a pin،e Dolce & Gabbana double-،ed Sicilia-fit suit. The tailored fit was enhanced by his c،ice of shades and a vest, exuding the cool, confident swagger that only Robbie can pull off. While the suit was undeniably chic, the additional accessories infused it with his signature rock ‘n’ roll edge. This look was a testament to his ability to merge cl،ic tailoring with his bold, unapologetic style.
